A matter of life and death

In a studio setting, an audience is confronted with people in serious need of expensive medical or health care treatment. The premise of the program is that not everyone can be given the treatment they need and wish. Choices must be made in favor of one and against another. Experts and film clips are used to explain the costs and the limited budgetary and resource problems. The studio audience then votes on the difficult choices that confront health officials. Individuals in the audience are asked to explain the reasoning behind the choices that they made.
