A Knife in Your Heart is a new musical drama series by Agneta Fagerström-Olsson and Peter Birro about the new people in urban cities, set in the present, about love, friendship and big dreams. Nine young people are heading out into life. From various countries, they carry an assortment of backgrounds and experiences. But what unites them are the conditions of the suburban housingproject community where they live. Amir and Juan have sworn each other undying loyalty, and they both share a dream of becoming something great, respected in the world they know: a world of violence and criminality, but also of happiness and strong bonds of brotherhood. The drama series completes Fagerströms and Birros suburban triology which started with Hammarkullen and The First Gypsy in Space.
