37th. Summer of the bomb

Broadcast on the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan, the program consists of two films. The first shot by Japanese cameramen right after the bombing and the second film is an animation about the same subject. The program was hosted by film and television historian, Erik Barnouw. The compelling historic footage and the apolitical treatment of a very political subject.
