Visos: A field research on 7 dreams

In the remotest and most pastoral parts of Sardinia, three young researchers are carrying out an investigation. IN their work contract, they are defined as “seekers of dreams”. Going from house to house in the villages, they succeed in establishing a relationship of such trust with the local people that they get them to recount their dreams. The documentation reveals an unknown and unsuspected world.Memories of metamorphoses, of marvelous flights through the sky, of underwater excursions and journeys through subterranean galleries, allude to experiences that have not been lived other than in dreams and that are, nonetheless, full of apparently real and convincing sensations and images. The film, without dissimulating the presence of technical instruments and of the group at work, represents the experiences of seven dreams testified and interpreted by the protagonists.An unusual anthropological programme that does not exploit or manipulate the subjects of the research.
