This is a 5-minute movie produced by TV Cultura for the series 'Abra a Porta' (Open the Door), coordinated by Ragdoll Productions, a British company who specializes in children´s programs. The series shows children from every part of the world. The Brazilian episode of this series, produced in 1995, was shot in 16 mm in the Favela de Paraisópolis, in Sao Paulo, follows the efforts of a little boy, Zezé, to gather some pan´s lids to have fun. The program was on the air on the National Children´s Day of Broadcasting, created by UNICEF. The series 'Open the Door' was started in 1992, and, since 1994, is sponsored by UNICEF. Each movie, with approximately 5 minutes running time, shows a story without dialogues which narrates a simple situation of the children´s daily life in a given country. Each episode starts with a door that opens.
