Giving way

Giving Way is the story of a woman living alone in a city where vulnerability is a flaw, where glancing at a strange man can lead to becoming a victim. Giving Way was made in answer to the traditional dramatic scene in which women are kidnapped, attacked or raped and either submit or wind up missing after the next cut. The film raises some very provocative questions about violence against women, the erosion of the human psyche by fear and the responsibility of defense.
