Devils and saints

A programme of the Regional Centre for Calabria. Considering the interest for folk traditions, this programme deals with the folk music in Centre-South Italy. The programme follows the agricultural calendar, whose events represent human activity itself. With the scenes taken in a studio, groups or single performers play folk music, following ritual feasts and activities of a world to be found again. This programme, and its proposal, are by the Regional Centre for Calabria. It is directed by Luciano Capponi.
