'The Way Things Are' is a fresh, uninhibited, and at times even impudent look at the adult world. The protagonists of each program are seven teenagers who explore, analyze and discuss an issue relevant to today´s society. The goal of the series is to incite people to reflect upon their views sparked by the opinions of the generation that will be running society in the 21st century. The young protagonists of this episode, through three surprising experiences, discover the barriers that society forces the physically handicapped to overcome.
