Poetic narration and beautiful imagery intersect to create a compelling work that recounts life for Japanese Americans in WWII internment camps. Imagery combines well-selected archive footage with poetic original cinematography. Narrative voice, in the first person, addresses viewers´ preconceptions about documentary film narration.
