NO REWIND is a fast-paced video that educates teenagers about how to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS. Peer Educators and HIV-infected youth speak for themselves in this program, promoting abstinence, safe sex and communication as the best weapons against the disease. The blend of frank talk, storytelling, humorous role-playing and condom how-to’s encourages teenagers to break through the “it couldn’t happen to me” myth and begin addressing the relevant sexual and social issues.NO REWIND has received an overwhelming response from its intended audience: teenagers and health education instructors. Since January 1993, over 400 copies of the tape have been distributed to high schools, peer education programs, Planned Parenthoods, runaway youth shelters, youth detention centers, hospitals, health departments, and Universities and Public libraries.NO REWIND has received numerous major awards.
