On the day of the March 2011 earthquake in Japan, the tsunami destroyed oil tanks and other port facilities, dragging massive amounts of debris and oil deep into the bay, where fires erupted. Video cameras captured the mechanism behind the outbreak and spread of post-tsunami fires. In another town, Taro, the structure of the seawalls built to protect residents from tsunamis caused an unexpected disaster. Featuring video footage that local residents shot in the midst of disaster, this program follows the stories of survivors to illuminate the hidden dangers of tsunamis.
